Tina Fey Hosts "The Hidden World of Girls"

From NPR's The Kitchen Sisters comes The Hidden World of Girls, a two-hour radio show that takes us into the lives of women and girls all around the globe.

Tina Fey's wonderfully clear voice and feminist vision lends an authenticity that provides us a sympathetic understanding and fine segues into the next stories.  But this is not just a study of women's lives around the world; it's a study of culture and how women are represented in those cultures.  My favorite piece? The Irish Travelers.  It's a very fascinating segment (with singing!).  You can find the show divided by its hours on the Kitchen Sisters website or divided into its thematic segments at  PRX (which is a wonderful thing).
